Total Spectrum are currently recruiting a experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a growing and ambitious, family-run company, based near Brough.

The Fitter will play a crucial role both in the workshop and on-site. This role is a permanent role with the company, for the right candidate.

Responsibilites include:

* Planned and reactive maintenance to company machines and equipment.

* Fabrication and welding projects.

* Servicing and basic maintenance of fleet vehicles and trailers.

* Fault finding and repair of various plant, machinery and equipment.

* General yard preparation and supervision.

Experience required for the role:

* Full UK driving licence.

* A mechanical fitting or engineering background.

* Fabrication and welding

* Electrical - basic electrical awareness

* Broad experience working on vehicles, machinery and tools.

Skills and attributes:

* Effective time management.

* Ability to work autonomously or within a team as required.

* Promote and maintain health and safety standards.

* Excellent punctuality, communication skills and professionalism.

* A positive, hard-working attitude.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30

Starting salary up to £45,760 - Overtime available paid 1.25x weekdays, 1.5x weekends
