About the Opportunity

NRL is excited to be recruiting a Quality Engineer for our leading client, supporting a major nuclear infrastructure programme. This is a pivotal role offering significant career growth within one of the UK's most important energy projects. As part of a dynamic, embedded team, you'll play a key role in driving exceptional quality standards throughout the entire project lifecycle, helping to shape the future of clean energy.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Quality Engineer, you'll:

Manage the non-conformance process, including root cause analysis and coordination of corrective actions.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the project's Integrated Management System (IMS) and quality culture.
Review and provide input on quality documentation across the project.
Help develop audit plans and support audit delivery and follow-up activities.
Deliver or support quality-related training sessions.
Monitor key performance indicators related to quality and report findings.
Prepare data and insights for project Management Reviews. 

What You'll Need

A degree or equivalent in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline.
Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 19443:2018 standards.
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems in a regulated industry.
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as 8D methodology.
Experience in documentation control and non-conformance tracking.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
