About the Company

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Industrial Hygiene Operative to maintain and improve hygiene standards across the manufacturing facility. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant production environment in line with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled and reactive cleaning of production equipment, floors, and work areas.

Operate cleaning machinery and handle cleaning chemicals safely.

*

Maintain hygiene records and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

*

Collaborate with production teams to coordinate cleaning schedules with manufacturing operations.

*

Monitor hygiene standards and report any issues or risks promptly.

*

Support continuous improvement initiatives for hygiene and safety.

Requirements

*

Previous experience in a hygiene, cleaning, or sanitation role within food manufacturing or a similar environment (desirable).

*

Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP awareness an advantage).

*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*

Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

*

Physically fit to handle manual cleaning tasks.
