Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solution Architect to join our dynamic team in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and expertise in Application Architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust application solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align technology with business goals and drive innovation within the organization.

Responsibilities:

* Lead the design and architecture of complex application systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

* Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Develop and maintain architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for application development.

* Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance application performance and efficiency.

* Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

* Mentor and train junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

* Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment of application architecture with business objectives.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

Mandatory Skills:

* Strong expertise in Application Architecture, including design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.

* Proficient in cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

* Experience with microservices architecture and API design.

* Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

* Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

* Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

* Knowledge of data architecture and database design.

* Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

* Experience in leading architectural initiatives and driving change within an organization.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

* 15+ years of experience in software development and application architecture.

* Proven experience in leading architectural design and implementation for large scale applications.

* Relevant certifications in architecture or cloud technologies are a plus
