We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join an earthworks project based in Edinburgh, starting Monday 12th May. This is a 3-4 month contract with a well-established civil engineering contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for large-scale earthworks operations

*

Managing QA documentation and as-built records

*

Working closely with the site team to ensure accuracy and programme targets

*

Liaising with machine operators and supervising subcontractors

*

Use of GPS equipment (Trimble or Leica preferred)

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or heavy civils projects

*

Proficient with GPS equipment (ideally Trimble)

*

CSCS card essential

*

Right to work in the UK

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (advantageous but not essential)
