The Opportunity
My client is looking to bring on a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to join their growing team in the Reading area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career to develop hands-on experience across energy modelling, sustainability strategy, and building performance. You'll be supported in developing your technical skills, with plenty of opportunity to attend training, gain certifications, and progress within the business.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the delivery of energy and sustainability assessments
Assisting with SAP, SBEM, and overheating (Part O) analysis
Using IES VE for energy modelling and building performance simulations
Producing reports and supporting planning energy strategies
Working closely with architects, engineers, and senior consultants
Keeping up to date with UK Building Regulations and sustainability standards

What We're Looking For

A degree in Sustainability, Building Services, Architecture, or a related field
Some relevant experience (placement, internship, or similar) is beneficial but not essential
An interest in energy modelling, particularly IES VE
Basic understanding of UK Building Regulations (Part L, Part O beneficial)
A proactive and motivated attitude with a willingness to learn
Keen to attend training, gain accreditations, and develop technically
