Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus (profit share)

Benefits: Car allowance + comprehensive benefits package The role of Quantity Surveyor - Electrical & M&E will involve:

• Quantity Surveyor position dealing with Electrical services and M&E
• Dealing with projects typically across the central belt of Scotland
• Meeting with clients for site visits building relationships
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
• Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Working on projects ranging from £1m - £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor - Electrical & M&E with

• Must have Quantity Surveying experience within Electrical or M&E market sectors
• Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
• Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques
• Highly organised with good attention to detail
• Excellent communicator written and verbally
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good team player who also works well individually
