Paragon Social Care is a specialist Children’s Support Agency, supporting children and young people across the country who find themselves between placements. Our experienced team steps in and provides vital stability and support during these difficult times of transition. We work in a therapeutic way using the Positive Behaviour Support and Trauma Informed Frameworks.

We are recruiting a Support Package Manager to assist the company as we expand in the North East region to act as a link between the support staff and senior management.

Duties:

  • Having full oversite of a maximum of 4 support packages at any one time, knowing exactly what is happening on each package and being responsible for all decision making.
  • Writing up Care Plans, Safety Plans, Risk Assessments etc and ensuring staff are following these plans.
  • Making important safeguarding decisions/calls.
  • Dealing with questions and queries from support staff on an ongoing daily basis.
  • Attending multi-agency meeting with professionals including social care, the police and health.
  • Visiting the support packages, either announced or unannounced for QA checks, to speak to the young person and to check on paperwork and ensure all plans and company policies and procedures are being adhered to.
  • Assisting with setting up and closing down of support packages.

Requirements
  • A social care background, an ex social worker or social care manager would be ideal.
  • Statutory Social Care experience
  • You will be fluent in English,
  • Have an excellent understanding of children’s safeguarding and be confident to attend and speak at professional meetings where you will represent the company.

- Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm

- 23 days annual leave as well as all Bank Holidays

Remuneration

- £45,000 per annum plus bonuses
