Your new companyYou will work for an independent media advertising agency, with office headquarters located in the heart of London's west end. Your new roleReporting to the Finance Operations Manager, you will work within an immediate transactional finance/operations team of three people. Your responsibilities will span the entire AP remit including:

• Processing supplier invoices
• Internal liaison to ensure timely authorisation of invoices to be included in the payment run
• Preparation and execution of payment runs
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Purchase order matching
• Investigation and resolution of supplier queries
• Credit card reconciliations
• Management of the AP email inbox
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable when necessary, including client billing, cedit control, posting and allocation of receipts.

What you'll need to succeed

• Recent, relevant experience in a similar end-to-end Accounts Payable role
• Understanding of how the AP function fits into the wider finance team
• Clear and confident communication skills
• Intermediate Excel skills and competence using finance systems
• Deadline driven with strong attention to detail
• Strong team player with an approachable and collaborative nature
• Previous experience working within the media sector is advantageous (not essential)
• Experience working with foreign currencies (EUR, USD) is helpful, but not essential.
• Willingness to learn
