Meridian is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative for an ongoing temporary position. You'll be joining a small team of logistics workers in a packing, storage and distribution area, working in a clean factory environment for a manufacturing firm in Cheltenham.

Hours: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 11.30pm

Warehouse Operative duties will include :

Unpacking and storage of items;
Picking items to order and updating changes to stock levels (using electronic hand held terminal/scanner);
Packing items for dispatch;
Completing related paperwork;
Checking containers for correct contents and reporting errors;
Support other warehouse operatives.Skills/experience required for Warehouse Operative:

Previous experience in a warehouse role
A strong level of literacy and numeracy (counting out items, checking part numbers, completing some basic paperwork);
Ability to work at height as the role will involve working on a VNA truck at times;
Forklift licences / experience would be advantageous
Powered pallet truck / lifting equipment experience would be advantageous 
VNA Licence / experience would be advantageous Easily commutable from Gloucester, Tewkesbury and surrounding areas.
