About the Company
We are working with a leading main contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value construction projects across the UK. With a growing pipeline of landmark high-rise projects, they are looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of multi-million-pound high-rise projects. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project team, you will ensure cost control, accurate reporting, and commercial leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all commercial and contractual aspects of high-rise construction projects.

*

Prepare and manage budgets, cost plans, valuations, and variations.

*

Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure best value.

*

Produce accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

*

Lead and mentor junior surveyors, promoting best practice within the team.

*

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards.

About You

*

Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment.

*

Strong track record working on high-rise residential or commercial developments (ideally £20m+).

*

Excellent knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts.

*

Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

*

Membership of RICS (desirable but not essential).
