A Doncaster manufacturing company with ambitious growth plans have an outstanding opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in a challenging and exciting role. The setup of the business enables this to be an autonomous role that still offers plenty of support from management, meaning this is the ideal role for someone who is looking to take a next step on the career ladder.
You will be tasked with managing a subdivision of the business, giving value add business partnering to this division and providing them with financial analysis, insight, forecasting and reporting. Working closely with the Regional Director and their teams, you will be the crucial link between finance and the rest of the Senior Management team.
Your general tasks will include:
*Business partnering with the wider management team to provide financial support, information and insight
*Work to produce the budgeting and reforecasting process for the division for consolidation into the Group Strategic Plan
*Preparation of monthly management information, including Management Accounts, Group Management Trackers and balance sheet reconciliations
*Production and/or review of cashflow modelling and development/ acquisition appraisals; challenging assumptions and inputting strong financial assurance to the models to drive appropriate financials decisions
*Analysis/ prediction of year end valuation movements by having developed an accurate knowledge and understanding of the portfolio
*Assistance with funding applications/ ongoing fund facility management
*Monitoring of cost plans
*Various ad hoc/ project work and analysis
To do this role, excellent communication skills are an absolute must, as is a strong commercial acumen and set of analytical skills. You must want to work in an ever changing environment and feel comfortable working with senior management.
You need to be a Qualified Accountant with some exposure to commercial work / finance business partnering, and someone who is not keen to progress and kick on with their career need not apply. You would be working with a genuine set of people, who look after their own and the business pays well with a good bonus on top.
