This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain practical experience working with children and young people with additional needs - ideal for those considering a future in educational psychology, clinical psychology, or child and adolescent mental health.
As a Psychology Graduate Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional emotional, behavioural, or academic support. You will play a key role in helping to create a safe and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils' emotional and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom
- Helping students understand and engage with lesson content
- Working 1:1 with pupils or in small groups to support learning and social development
- Observing, recording, and reporting on pupil progress to support interventions
- Collaborating with SEN and pastoral teams to implement tailored support strategies
