We are currently recruiting for an experienced Area Supervisor to join a well-established operational business, overseeing activities at a busy and fast-paced site.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of site operations, while acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Role

As Area Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising on-site teams and ensuring all activities are completed in line with safety procedures and company standards
• Acting as the main point of contact on site, resolving operational issues and maintaining strong working relationships
• Coordinating staff and equipment to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Supporting, mentoring, and developing team members to maintain performance standards
• Monitoring site performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant legislation and internal policies
• Working closely with senior management to support planning and operational targets

About You

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong supervisory experience in a hands-on environment.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within an operational or industrial setting
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures and compliance
• The ability to manage workloads, people, and priorities effectively
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A practical, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
• A full UK driving licence
