Loader & Unloader – Loughborough

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Loaders & Unloaders to join our well-established client based in Loughborough. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Shifts

• Monday to Wednesday
• 09:00 – 17:00

Rates of Pay

• £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Loader & Unloader, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Loading stock in an organised manner
• Unloading new stock deliveries
• Carrying out visual quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
• Receiving and unpacking incoming goods
• Following health and safety guidelines for manual handling
• Checking deliveries against stock lists
• Transporting stock to the correct departments or areas
• Conducting stock counts and recording information accurately
• Sorting and organising stock
• Assisting with general cleaning duties

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Loader & Unloader, you will need:

• Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Previous experience in loading and unloading
• Strong organisational skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Physical fitness and ability to lift
• Flexible approach to work and willingness to take on a variety of tasks
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment

Training Provided

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
