This is a permanent opportunity for a Private Client Senior Associate to play a key role within an established and collaborative Private Client team in Guildford. You will manage your own matters while supporting the wider department to meet fee-earning targets, maintain excellent client service, and uphold regulatory standards.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing a varied private client caseload, including advising clients and conducting matters from instruction through to completion
- Supervising administrative support and supporting trainee solicitors with guidance and training
- Supporting financial control through time recording, billing, and cash-flow management
- Contributing to team activities, marketing initiatives, and internal process improvement
You will also collaborate with colleagues across departments, assist with cover during absences, attend client meetings in the UK and overseas where required, and maintain high standards of file management and compliance.
We're Looking For
- A qualified Solicitor with solid experience in private client law
- Proven ability to manage your own caseload and meet fee and time recording targets
- Strong client care, organisational, and supervisory skills
- Confidence working collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and CPD compliance
