Introduction

The school is seeking a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their Upper Key Stage 2 team on a part-time basis. The Role

Key responsibilities include:

Teaching a warm, engaged and hardworking Year 6 class
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the UKS2 curriculum
Preparing pupils for SATs with a calm, supportive and structured approach
Working closely with the parallel Year 6 teacher to share planning and resources
Tracking progress, completing assessments and contributing to pupil reports
Maintaining a positive, inclusive and calm classroom environment
Communicating effectively with parents and staff

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a passionate practitioner who will bring energy and expertise to Year 6.
You will need:

QTS and experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 6 experience desirable but not essential)
Strong subject knowledge across the KS2 curriculum
