Sleep-in shifts paid at £65 per night (minimum 4 per month)

About the Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll support the Registered Manager in leading the home to meet its Statement of Purpose and uphold the highest standards of care. You'll be a key figure in safeguarding, team development, and ensuring compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Leadership & Team Development
Inspire and supervise staff, lead by example, and promote a culture of excellence.

* Safeguarding & Care Practice
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of young people through nurturing, therapeutic care.

* Quality Assurance & Compliance
Support audits, inspections, and maintain adherence to policies and regulations.

* Finance & Resource Management
Assist with budgeting, monitor expenditure, and manage staffing resources.

* Environment & Community Engagement
Maintain a safe, homely setting and foster positive links with the local community.

Requirements

* QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (essential)

* Experience in a children's residential care setting

* Strong leadership and communication skills
