Garden Design, Inc. is seeking an energetic Residential Landscape Construction Manager to join our employee-owned team. This position requires you to work directly with home builders, homeowners, and subcontractors to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The Residential Landscape Construction Manager must be highly knowledgeable and experienced with all aspects of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation construction. The Residential Landscape Construction Manager is a member of the Garden Design, Inc. residential management team.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
 Manage residential project managers, crews and subcontractors on large jobs with complex scopes-of-work
 Manage, inspect, and follow landscape and outdoor living projects from conception to completion.
 Lead the on-the-job training efforts for project mangers
 Coordinate daily work schedule with the Production Manager or Project Manager
 Work with landscape designers and sales to ensure design, scheduling, materials, etc. for projects.
 Oversee many aspects of design-build projects to ensure they are in line with project goals.
 Coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors on homes to ensure that work is completed in accordance with plans and specifications as well as the clients’ expectations.
 Maintain and improve long-term relationships with clients.
 Represent the company professionally.
 Inspect all field work; analyze and resolve problems.
 Coordinates with company superintendents as to job progress (or lack thereof).
 Oversee the production of multiple jobs simultaneously.
 Ensure that jobs are kept on schedule and on budget.
 Analyze, develop, and enforce procedures to promote continual improvement in day to day Project Management processes and functions.
 Works directly with retail sales manager to ensure design sales and project management process are aligned to promote project success.
Education, Experience & Requirements:
 Minimum of 7 years of experience in landscape / construction industry with extensive field/ build experience.
 Certified PMP preferred but not required.
 Extensive knowledge of landscape installation and construction techniques.
 Comprehensive knowledge of plant material and best horticultural practices.
 Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications and to train others.
 Proficient with computers and technology including Microsoft Office, tablets, and smart devices.
 Thorough understanding of job costing, financials, and budgets.
 Knowledge of plants and soils.
 Strong communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with builders, homeowners, subcontractors, and the Garden Design team.
 Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment while operating with a high sense of urgency.
 Effective oral and written communication skills.
 Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
