Job Title - Project Engineer
Duration - 6 Months
Working Model - Hybrid (2 days per week in Central London)
Hourly Rate - £30p/hour - £40p/hour (dependant on experience)

Project Engineer Overview 
My client is seeking a contractor to support the Project Manager in coordinating engineering packages from early stages through to delivery.
Responsibilities include reviewing and managing vendor documentation, tracking and expediting equipment to meet project schedules, attending inspections, and liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure requirements are met. You will also prepare progress reports, monitor key deliverables, and provide general project and administrative support to keep packages on track.

The Project Engineer role will involve:

Support the Project Manager with day-to-day project activities
Review vendor documents and ensure they meet project requirements
Track and follow up on equipment and supplier deliveries
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to keep work progressing
Attend inspections and support testing of equipment where needed
Monitor progress and help keep projects on schedule
Prepare progress updates and reports
The Project Engineer will need to have the following attributes:

Some experience in project or package engineering
1-5 years' relevant experience
Experience within oil, gas, or petrochemical industries
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proactive and willing to support across different project activities
Comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams
