Salary: £15/hour weekly pay

Tezlom is currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join our Mental Health Recovery Home. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting individuals with mental health conditions to achieve recovery, independence, and improved quality of life. As a Team Leader, you will lead and support a team of care staff, ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a safe and supportive environment. You will also work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for residents

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, supervise, and support care staff during shifts

* Ensure the delivery of person-centred, recovery-focused care

* Support residents with daily living activities and recovery goals

* Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and accurate documentation

* Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and care standards

* Provide guidance, mentoring, and supervision to staff members

* Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and professionals

* Support the Home Manager in maintaining high standards of care

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)

* Previous experience in a mental health or residential care setting

* Experience supervising or leading care staff

* Good understanding of mental health recovery approaches and safeguarding

* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills

* Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, nights, or weekends if required

Desirable

* NVQ Level 4/5 in Health & Social Care or Leadership & Management

* Experience working within a mental health recovery or supported living service

* Knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations
