We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering solutions provider who is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in Public Address and Voice Alarm (PAVA) systems. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to support a range of reactive, planned maintenance, and small works projects across the South of England.

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of service engineers and report into the Area Service Manager, providing both onsite and remote technical support. A strong background in audio technology, basic electronics, and IT networking will be essential.

Role Overview:

Location: Field-based across the South of England

Working Hours: Flexibility required - day, night, and weekend work depending on project needs

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake planned maintenance and reactive servicing of PAVA systems in line with industry regulations.

Diagnose faults, identify non-conformities, and complete detailed site reports.

Provide technical assistance to other engineers both remotely and onsite.

Ensure all health and safety procedures are consistently followed.

Contribute to engineering meetings and technical discussions where required.

Maintain clear daily communication and ensure all administration (timesheets, expenses, mileage logs) is completed accurately and promptly.

Participate in audits covering vehicles, tools, and operational processes.

Support any additional tasks as directed by management.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous hands-on experience with commercial audio systems installation and maintenance.

Recognised qualifications in electrical engineering, sound technology, or strong academic background in maths/science (GCSE/A-Level).

IT literate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
