We are seeking a passionate and adaptable English Supply Teacher to join a respected grammar school in Chatham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who can deliver engaging lessons and maintain high standards of teaching in the absence of the permanent class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English lessons across Key Stages as required.
• Follow existing lesson plans or create engaging activities when necessary.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment.
• Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour expectations.
• Support student learning and progress through effective teaching practices.
• Work collaboratively with departmental staff to ensure continuity for students.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge in English language and/or literature.
• Experience teaching secondary-aged students.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
