Overview

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a busy sliced meat manufacturing site in Haverhill. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced food production environment and is confident supervising a team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising production operatives across the sliced meats department.
Ensuring all production lines run efficiently and safely throughout the shift.
Monitoring product quality and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are always met.
Supporting staff training, development, and performance management.
Completing shift reports, recording production data and communicating with management.
Ensuring KPIs are met including output, waste control, and line efficiency.
Managing allocation of staff to workstations based on skills and daily production needs.
Supporting continuous improvement and encouraging a positive, team-focused culture.
Ensuring all Health & Safety and HACCP procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in a food manufacturing environment (ideally chilled or meat processing).
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and H&S regulations.
Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
