Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a longstanding client based in Chesterfield to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for the next 4-6 months. This is an urgent requirement with video interviews and an immediate start for the successful candidate. A remote on boarding plan and provisions to work from home from day one are already in place and our client is committed to ensuring all employees are able to continue to work safely and effectively during this time.
As the Finance Manager for a smaller UK division of a large international business, you will join the leadership team and have direct involvement in the day to day management of the UK business. Managing a small team of two in finance, your remit will include;
*Timely financial reporting to internal stakeholders both in the UK and at Group level, and external reporting to HMRC and companies house
*Management and oversight of the team responsible for Treasury and Banking including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
*Aid business decisions through commercial analysis and strategic insight
*Support with industry and financial regulatory changes
*Involvement in local and international finance related projects including process and system improvements
The successful candidate will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), ideally with an audit background, but certainly with experience of working in a highly regulated environment. The ability to work well independently is also essential given the current circumstances.
