This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation that is committed to transforming lives through education, skills, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and secure new business opportunities with both levy and non-levy employers.

* Build and manage strong, long-term employer relationships to support ongoing training and development needs.

* Act as a single point of contact for employers, offering tailored advice on apprenticeship reforms, T-Levels, commercial training, and other relevant services.

* Conduct organisational needs analysis to match employer requirements with internal and external training solutions.

* Lead promotional activities including face-to-face visits, cold calling, networking events, social media outreach, and telesales.

* Collaborate with internal curriculum teams to facilitate work placements and employer engagement opportunities.

* Negotiate training contracts, service agreements, and pricing structures in line with college models.

* Maintain detailed records and reporting using CRM systems.

* Represent the organisation at events, conferences, and employer briefings.

What We're Looking For:

* Proven experience in a business development, employer engagement, or B2B sales role—preferably in the education or training sector.

* Strong understanding of apprenticeships, government-funded training, and commercial training products.

* Ability to identify employer needs and convert them into successful, long-term partnerships.

* Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.

* Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

* Proficient in using CRM systems to manage accounts and track activity.

* Willingness to travel to employer sites and attend events as needed.

* A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.

Qualifications:

* Level 3 qualification (preferably in a sales or business-related subject)

* Level 2 English and Maths

* Health and Safety training experience is desirable
