Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children's Support Worker in Dover, with a take home salary between £28,000 and £30,000 in your first year.

As a Children's Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to children between the ages of 12 and 17 with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties in a residential setting. Your role will involve building positive relationships with the young people, promoting their emotional well-being, and assisting them in developing essential life skills.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with young people in a similar setting, as well as a strong understanding of the challenges and complexities that come with supporting individuals with emotional and behavioural difficulties. You will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to remain calm under pressure, as well as possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Skills Required:


As a children's support worker, you will ideally have;

  • A positive outlook and enthusiasm for activities
  • A high level of both mental and physical energy, to keep up with the kids!
  • A motivated, inspirational and dedicated work ethic towards the role
  • Previous experience within the Social Care industry
  • Have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle - due to the duties of the role
