Labourer - Rail

Location: Pokesdown 

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

Type: Temporary

Hours: 7.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday (Next week)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support ongoing rail works at Pokesdown Train Station. This is a great opportunity to join a busy rail project, assisting skilled teams in delivering essential infrastructure improvements safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining site safety, supporting trades, and ensuring work areas remain organised and compliant with rail industry standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Labourer:

Assisting trades and rail operatives on site
Carrying and distributing materials and equipment
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
Following site safety procedures and rail regulations at all times
Assisting with general groundworks and manual tasks as required
Working effectively as part of a team within a live rail environment
Requirements for the Labourer:

Previous experience working within the rail/construction industry preferred
Valid CSCS card (desirable)
Good understanding of health & safety practices
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
Reliable, punctual and able to work individually and as part of a team.
