Elevation Recruitment are working with a leading UK engineering manufacturer to recruit a skilled Hydraulic, Electrical & Mechanical Fitter to join their growing team. You’ll be responsible for assembling, installing, and testing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems across a range of industrial machinery.

Shift: Monday to Friday (35 hour working week)Salary: £32,000 (£17.57 per hour) Location: Barnsley

• Assemble, install and test hydraulic, electrical and mechanical components
• Wire hydraulic power packs and connect motors, pumps and valves
• Install electrical components including relays, sensors, switches and control panels
• Work with PLC systems and hydraulic schematics
• Pressure test hydraulic cylinders and troubleshoot faults
• Maintain accurate build and repair records to comply with safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers to improve efficiency and reliability

• Experience in hydraulic, electrical or mechanical fitting
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics (preferred)
• Excellent attention to detail and precision workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
• Team player with good communication
• Competent with hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments
• Commitment to health and safety
