Package Description:

Strathallan School is seeking a friendly and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our hardworking Domestic Team. This role involves working both independently and as part of a small team to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our pupils and staff.

This position is based in a girls’ boarding house, where you will be responsible for one floor, including 30 bedrooms, shower and toilet facilities, small kitchenettes, and shared social areas.


Pay, Hours & Working Pattern

  • 52-week position
  • Monday–Friday, 08:30–14:00 during term time
  • 5 days out of 7 on a rota during holiday periods
    (shifts will finish no later than 18:00)
  • Term-time only may be considered for the right candidate
  • Hourly rate exceeds NMW

About You

  • Ideally local and able to travel independently (own transport preferred)
  • Experience in domestic or cleaning services is helpful but not essential
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to work to high standards
