What You'll Do

As a Graduate Learning Support Assistant in our specialist ASD school, you'll provide essential support to students across a wide age range (4-19 years), helping them navigate their educational journey in a way that respects their unique abilities and challenges.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting children and young people with ASD through personalised learning activities, sensory regulation, and communication support

Assisting teachers in adapting lesson plans to meet individual needs and abilities

Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting emotional wellbeing and social skills development

Helping to maintain a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment tailored to sensory sensitivities

Monitoring student progress and working with specialists to inform personalised education plans
