Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

Thames Valley (Reading/Oxford area)

Multi-sector Projects | Client-facing Role

We're working with a well-respected, multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that's looking to strengthen its Thames Valley team with an experienced Project Manager. With a strong pipeline of work across the region - including commercial, education, and public sector schemes - they're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of projects from day one. This is a great fit for someone with consultancy-side experience who enjoys variety, values long-term client relationships, and wants to be part of a business where quality of delivery really matters.

The opportunity:

  • A broad mix of refurbs, fit-outs, and new builds, typically in the £2m-£30m range.
  • Projects across sectors including education, public sector, science & tech, and light industrial.
  • Highly supportive culture with plenty of autonomy.
  • Long-term progression with a business that promotes from within.

Ideal background:

  • 3-6 years in a construction consultancy or similar client-side environment.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and coordinating with design teams, contractors, and end clients.
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role - someone who brings clarity and confidence to project delivery.
  • MRICS or working towards it is beneficial but not essential.

The team here is experienced, friendly, and well-connected in the region - a really solid place to grow your career, especially if you're based around Reading, Oxford, Newbury, or Basingstoke.
