Our client are currently seeking a skilled Process Operator to join their team on a contract basis to work within the water sector. This role is based in Sheffield, with the potential for long-term work with the company. The position is outside IR35, providing an excellent opportunity to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and controlling water treatment processes to ensure optimal performance
Maintaining and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth operation
Conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting issues as they arise
Recording and reporting data in accordance with regulatory and company standards
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Collaborating with team members to improve process efficiency
Assisting with start-ups, shutdowns, and routine maintenance activities
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives

Job Requirements:

Experience in process operations, preferably within the water sector
Understanding of water treatment processes and related equipment
Ability to interpret and analyse process data
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to maintaining high safety standards
Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
