Technical Administrator

Wakefield

£25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

Randstad have partnered with one of the leading house builders who are seeking a Technical Administrator to join their team in their Wakefield office.

This role is crucial for ensuring smooth coordination, documentation, and communication across our projects. You'll provide comprehensive administrative support, including preparing documents, coordinating meetings, and managing diaries.

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and distributing them promptly.
Coordinating meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing materials.
Supporting the preparation and management of HUG packs and Health & Safety files.
Assisting with technical documentation (e.g., H&S/environmental forms, retention notes, master trackers).
Organising CPD events, including catering and logistics.
Maintaining and updating training records and the training matrix.
Managing the Technical Team diary and providing general administrative support.You'll also contribute to wider office duties, including providing reception cover and assisting the main Administrator during periods of leave, ensuring team continuity.

Experience and kills:

Previous experience in an office-based secretarial/administrative role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise and coordinate activities between departments.
A positive and flexible approach to work, integrating well with existing teams and providing support where needed.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
A positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn.
Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.Desirable Skills:

Knowledge and understanding of document control processes.
Previous experience in the housebuilding/construction industry.
Familiarity with Viewpoint software.
