Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor

to support Senior Quantity Surveyors across a range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial management within the residential construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.

* Support in managing project costs throughout the lifecycle of developments.

* Help in the preparation and analysis of subcontractor quotations.

* Assist with contract administration and procurement activities.

* Help to monitor site progress and track costs, preparing cost reports.

* Liaise with project teams and provide support on cost control matters.

* Participate in site visits to assess project progress and cost implications.

Who We're Looking For

* A recent graduate or early career professional with a relevant degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar).

* Some experience in a construction or quantity surveying role is desirable, but not essential.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

* Keen attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ideally some knowledge of industry software.

* A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving.
