A well-established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with around three years of full-cycle practice experience who is looking to progress their career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns
- Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping where required
- Liaising directly with clients to gather information and respond to queries
- Supporting senior team members on more complex assignments
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
The Ideal Candidate
- Approximately three years of full-cycle experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/ACA (or equivalent) is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues
- Motivated to develop professionally and take on increasing responsibility
