Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a CNC Turner to their team on a permanent basis due to a growth period. You'll be based within the Glenrothes area.

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 5.15pm

Hourly Rate: £14.79 - £19.72 (DOE)

Daily Duties -

Set up and operate machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machining operations, sequences, and tooling requirements
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting tools for the job
Conduct quality checks using suitable precision measuring instruments
Maintain accurate records of production data e.g. job numbers, timings, and materials
Make necessary adjustments to machine settings, tools, or materials to maintain production quality and efficiencyCandidate Requirements -

Time-served or relevant machining experience
Ability to operate / program machines Fanuc control systems
