Eaton Syalon are working with a business in North Nottingham, to recruit an Accounts Payable Clerk. Reporting into the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this role is ideal for candidates who are looking for an office-based role, working in a supportive accounts environment and those who are looking for a "hands on" transactional finance position.

The Role
As a Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the accounts payable function. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing supplier invoices, and supporting the Finance team with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Processing, coding, and matching purchase invoices

* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries promptly

* Preparing payment runs and ensuring suppliers are paid on time

* Assisting with month-end processes and reporting

* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies

* Process staff expenses in line with Company policy,

* Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams

About You

* Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* A proactive and team-focused attitude
