We're working exclusively with a highly respected transport and infrastructure consultancy that's looking to expand its team with the addition of a Senior Transport Planner. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality planning advice and technical support across a broad range of development sectors, this is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to work on a diverse project portfolio with a supportive and growing team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Transport Planner, you'll play a key role in delivering transport planning inputs for a variety of development projects - from initial feasibility through to planning application and beyond. This role offers real variety and responsibility, including client liaison, project management, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Transport Statements

Leading on the technical input to planning applications

Engaging with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders

Using software such as Junctions, LinSig, TRICS, and TEMPro

Supporting and guiding junior staff, contributing to a collaborative team culture

What We're Looking For:

A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering)

At least 5 years' experience in development planning or transport consultancy

Strong technical and report-writing skills

Good working knowledge of current transport policies and planning legislation

Confident communicator, capable of liaising with clients and local authorities
