Training Development & Support Coach - London
Purpose of the Job
As part of the Training & Development team you will actively support the Operations Managers by identifying, creating, developing, delivering and equipping the store teams with the tools, knowledge, skills, engagement and motivation to carry out their duties productively, efficiently and effectively.
Taking a strategic approach to training, assessing the skills and knowledge within the stores and determining what training and support is required to.

Your role will play an integral part in supporting everything training related in your delegated area and will require you to be a Brand Ambassador, celebrating the culture, company values and business achievements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
? To support the Operations Manager in delivering a people pipeline through the use of: Career Pathways, Succession Plans & Bench Planning recruitment needs.
? Lead the career pathway for all teams through from Sign On to Sign Off Certification in partnership with the General and Operations Manager.
? Ensure all training material is current, accurate, updated and created in line with needs of the business.
? To have a clear network of 'Area Champions' across all training platforms, within your area, to support the continual pipeline growth within the business.
? To be an expert in all operational platforms - Fourth, Flow, Shield
? Complete a Chop Check visit following the S.O.P.
? Support the General Manager/ stores in Employee Relation issues, where note-taking, investigations, hearings & disciplinaries are required to be undertaken.
? Ensure mandatory blended career pathway is completed within the allocated timeframes within your designated area.
? Facilitate specific refresher training sessions or workshops within your area to drive and maintain a safe, legal and compliant environment.
? Attend area meetings to support the Operations Manager in communicating all training stats and new initiatives to support the company strategy and objectives.
? Work closely with the Operations Manager, ensuring they are aware of all feedback, opportunities and issues across their area, on regular basis.
? Support the Operations Manager in outlier stores, ensuring all relevant training is reviewed or reassigned, reducing the risk to the team, store and business.
? Support the area during the Operations Managers annual leave, ensuring all stores are all supported.
? To have monthly review with the Operations Manager to discuss people, quality, sales & profit.
? Delivery of the budgeted stock profit target for your allocated area, which will be a measured KPI.
? To complete bi-annual Shield Safety Audits, with your peers, in stores. Ensuring we measure brand operating standards, food quality, legal & statutory processes, issuing online action plans for completion.
? Delivery of EHO enforcement pass rate of 100% across your area.
? To have weekly calls, keeping your line manager fully up to date with all relevant area performance, good news stories, issues, changes, information and priority actions required.
? Delivery of company retention targets through New Starter Survey measurement, in your area.
? To achieve 90% completion rate on module / workbook completion across your area.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
? Previous experience as a General Manager within a QSR, pub, restaurant or bar organisation.
? Familiarity with a range of training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
? Experience of using a Learning Management system, ideally FLOW.
? Ability to discuss and demonstrate success in managing/coaching others in addition to running own store.
? Demonstrable success in growing and developing management and teams within stores.
? A 'can do' attitude, prepared to think outside the box to support our stores and other areas of the business.
? Self motivated, energetic and tenacious individual.
? Operation of a computer work-station and other office equipment (in particular the ability to use word, power point, excel).
? Ability to drive in the UK - full clean driving licence.
? The ability to coach others with tact and patience.
? Keen interest in food and food development, ideally backed up by relevant experience.

? Previous high volume site experience in other industry, to demonstrate key organisational skills.
? Proven successful experience in a high-volume food and drink operation.
? Level 3 Food Hygiene.
? Previous experience working with Head Office teams to drive results in the stores
