Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum

The OpportunityOur client is a successful global vendor looking for a Product Manager to join their business based in Hertfordshire.The successful candidate will work in conjunction with colleagues based locally and, in the USA, and have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar role within the AV industry experience in either a similar type of role or a role demonstrating an aptitude for problem solving using technical skill and/or analytical abilities. Excellent communication skills are a must, and you shouldnt be afraid to show personal initiative and a willingness to learn hence achieving the desired outcome for customers/the team.This is an exciting time for their business, and they are looking for someone who will seize the opportunity on offer.You'll need great people skills and enjoy working as part of a global team. If you possess these skills and the right attitude, then our client can train you to do the rest. Experience specific to the AV industry would be a distinct advantage but is not essential. Some occasional travel to customers, trade shows and onsite installations in both UK and Europe form part of the role and a flexible can-do attitude will help you succeed. They offer flexibility in terms of Hybrid working on completion of initial probation/training period.Due to the time difference with the parent company, there will be a requirement to work outside of normal hours on occasion however that would be to a minimum.Key tasks:Assist the PM Team Management to update and maintain the product roadmap from corporate to EMEA Sales,Marketing Operation teams.Help create product plans including life cycle management: -o competitive analysis.o industry tracking.o Assist with pricing strategy for strategic and tactical use by sales teams.Assist with providing product training to internal staff and key partners and help with incoming technical productqueries.Assist the Technical team to plan and carry out product launches, demonstrations external training.Assist Regional Heads to Study markets, identify gaps and evaluate new opportunities: -o Assist in identifying and creating new and enhanced products working closely withmanufacturing/engineering/marketing as well as external supplierso Assist with the preparation and execution of product launches and regional strategies in cooperationwith regional sales teams.o Work with Regional heads to collate data support in producing reports to Snr management.Support sales teams in strategic meetings and enquiries to understand the customer requirements/needs to findsolutions utilising standard/existing products if possibleSupport marketing where required to produce sales promotional material and marketing communications.Grow and maintain oeM manufacturer relationships in the EMEA.o Ensure regular contact with oeM Product Managers.o Assist in gathering market share information to share with the AV team.Assist with UK and EMEA Manufacturing relationshipso Work with Management to Investigate and manage cost of manufacturingo Work with Management to Identify and manage cost saving activities to ensure maximum profitabilityBased in Herts salary package is negotiable doe circa £35k plus discretionary bonus and private healthcare, life insurance and enhanced employer pension contributions.
