GRN Search Group is partnering with a well-established and expanding logistics business in Nutts Corner to recruit a Transport Planner. Operating across Northern Ireland and beyond, this is a fast-paced, customer-focused organisation with a strong reputation for service and reliability.

Due to continued growth and fleet expansion, they are strengthening their planning function, creating an opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to step into a key operational role with long-term progression prospects.

The Role

As Transport Planner, you'll sit at the heart of the transport operation - ensuring routes are planned efficiently, drivers are fully supported and deliveries are executed safely, on time and in full compliance.

This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and optimising daily multi-drop delivery routes
• Briefing and supporting drivers to ensure smooth daily execution
• Monitoring live fleet performance and resolving issues proactively
• Ensuring compliance with UK transport legislation, tachograph regulations and company standards
• Supporting KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Working closely with operations, scheduling and customer service teams

About You

• Experience in a transport planning or busy transport office role
• Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance
• Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills
• Confident communicator who can build strong working relationships
• IT literate (experience using TMS systems advantageous)
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
