Job PurposeTo maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment throughout the site, ensuring rooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas are presented to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Clean rooms, reception areas, offices, corridors, and toilets to required standards.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, polish, and remove rubbish from designated areas.
- Refill soap, hand towels, toilet tissue, and sanitising supplies.
- Clean desks, chairs, sinks, worktops, and touch‑point surfaces (e.g., door handles, light switches).
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely, following recycling policies.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and internal glazing as required.
- Maintain outdoor entrances and walkways free of litter.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
- Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with deep cleaning (e.g., carpet cleaning, furniture moving, steam cleaning).
Person SpecificationEssential- Enhanced DBS already in place or significant, proven cleaning experience (must meet at least one).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Awareness of health & safety processes.
Desirable- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Experience using professional cleaning equipment.
