About the Business

We are seeking a Financial Controller to join a leading manufacturing business in Coventry. Working alongside the leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the finance function while leading and developing your own team.

Main Duties:

As a Financial Controller, your main duties include:

• Partner with Finance and Management teams to provide support
• Deliver accurate and timely corporate and internal financial reporting
• Lead, develop, and support direct reports, contributing to succession planning
• Perform SOX compliance testing and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and present key financial statements, including P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet
• Oversee month-end close processes, including variance analysis and forecasting
• Monitor and manage key financial KPIs, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and business processes
• Liaise with external auditors to support year-end and interim audit processes
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required
