Electronics Support Engineer

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35,000 to £42,000

An opportunity has opened for an Electronics Support Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will have 2 or 3 years experience as an Electronics Engineer or similar and will have a mixture of hardware and embedded software knowledge.

The company offer 25 days holiday plus bank holiday, and a generous pension contribution as well as other benefits. The company are happy to train up people on Embedded Software if you have some Hardware design experience.

Electronics Support Engineer Key Skills:

* Ideally at least 2 years' experience working as an Electronics Support Engineer or similar

* Experience of PCB Design, schematic capture and layout

* Hardware design and re-design

* Design for EMC and DFM

* Embedded Software - C, C++

* ATE, testing and soldering experience

Electronics Support Engineer Responsibilities:

* Designing and re-designing electronic sensor and instrumentation products

* Using PCB design software for schematic capture and layout

* Programming in C and C++

* Firmware development

* Testing and soldering
