Role: Secondary Teacher (English)
Location: Telford & Shropshire
Salary: £150 - £220 per day
Start date: January 2026 or ASAP
Contract: Long-term, full-time

Tradewind Recruitment are supporting several large secondary schools across Telford and Shropshire who have ongoing staffing gaps in core subjects. We are looking for strong teachers of English to join their teams from January.

The role

Teaching KS3-KS4

Planning, marking and assessment

Delivering engaging lessons within well-supported departments

Working in schools with strong pastoral and leadership structures

Requirements

QTS or equivalent

Experience teaching your subject in UK secondary schools

Good classroom and behaviour management

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Right to work in the UK
