Interim Head of Finance - Adult Social Care

Role description:

• Lead the financial strategy, planning, and forecasting for Adult Social Care
• Oversee budget setting, in-year monitoring, and delivery of savings / transformation programmes.
• Lead the finance team / business partnering function supporting ASC services.
• Support medium-term financial strategy (MTFS) and long-term sustainability planning.
• Ensuring robust financial control and governance.

Role requirements:

• Qualified accountant Significant experience in local government finance, specifically Adult Social Care.
• Proven track record operating at Head of Finance / senior business partnering level.
• Strong understanding of: ASC funding and demand pressures
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders
