Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants to join an SEN School in West Ealing, West London.

Job Details:
Job Title: 4 x SEN Teaching Assistant
Start date: Immediate & September
Contract: Long- term, temporary with the opportunity to join the school permanently
Working hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM (1pm finish every Friday!)
Location: West Ealing, West London
Pay: GBP105 - GBP110 (Dependant on your experience and qualifications)

School Information:
· An independent special school (not state-funded), catering to students with special educational needs (SEN).
· It serves mixed-gender pupils aged 5 to 21, with capacity for around 100 pupils and currently about 63 enrolled.
· It specialises in supporting students with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH).

What Were Looking For:
· Strong behaviour management skills
· A firm but fair approach
· Experience working with children and young people from:
o Disengaged or disadvantaged backgrounds
o Social care settings
o At-risk groups
· Classroom experience is desired

Ideal Backgrounds:
Teaching Assistants, Youth Workers, or professionals in Children and Adult Social Care.

Requirements:
· At least 1 year experience supporting children and adults with SEN
· Valid Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult) registered on the Update Service
· Two recent references (within the last two years, preferably from an educational setting)
