Day-to-day of the role: - Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students aged 16-19 in both A Level and Vocational Geography courses.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students are engaged and motivated.
- Assess, monitor, and record the progress of students, providing timely feedback to encourage and support their learning journey.
- Develop and adapt curriculum materials to meet the needs and interests of the students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to excel in their studies and develop personal and professional skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Recognised teaching qualification in Geography or a related field.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to post-16 students.
- Strong knowledge of the current curriculum and educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching strategies.
