Year 3 Teacher

Location: Nottingham (NG16)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £150-£200 per day

Class Mate is recruiting a full-time Year 3 Teacher for a welcoming and supportive primary school in NG16, starting immediately.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Plan, prepare and assess learning to meet national curriculum expectations
• Support pupils' development across core subjects including Maths, Reading and Writing
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to differentiate effectively to support all learners
• Passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress

Requirements

• QTS and relevant teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Ability to provide two professional references
